Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This position plays a key role in ensuring all outbound shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, meeting all required deadlines. You will be responsible for preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring packages are ready for dispatch. A strong understanding of logistics procedures and a commitment to maintaining accurate records are essential. We value precision and efficiency in our logistics operations.Responsibilities: Prepare accurate shipping labels and documentation for all outgoing shipments. Verify shipment contents against orders to ensure accuracy. Schedule pickups with various shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.). Track shipments and provide updates to relevant parties. Maintain organized records of all shipping activities. Inspect outgoing packages for proper packaging and labeling. Communicate with internal departments regarding shipment status. Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies. Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of appropriate PPE. Operate shipping equipment such as scales and printers. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in a shipping or logistics role. Proficiency in using shipping software and carrier portals. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Familiarity with standard warehousing practices. Must be able to perform some lifting, up to 30 pounds. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE guidelines. This role requires attention to detail and a systematic approach to managing outbound logistics. Ensuring the safe and accurate dispatch of goods is paramount. You will be expected to consistently follow safety procedures and utilize all required PPE.
