As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist in Renton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment, upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $28.81 / HourJob Schedule: DayTime:Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhy Join Us:+ Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.+ Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.+ Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.+ Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities within the location.+ Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to company and client protocols.+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide assistance to employees and visitors.+ Adhere to all Allied Universal and client policies regarding the handling and carrying of firearms while on duty.Minimum Requirements:+ A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.+ A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.+ A minimum of 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.+ An armed guard card or license is required.+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
