Irrigation ForemanThe Best Teams Are Created and Maintained Here.Job SummaryThe Irrigation Foreman detects and makes repairs to the irrigation system.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDetect and repair the irrigation systemRead and interpret various gauges related to the irrigation systemManage employees and oversee production in the fieldEnsure a safe environment for other workers and vendors, clients and for all employeesOperate light/heavy equipment effectively and according to all regulationsEnsure that equipment is maintained and managed; alert supervisors if there are any issuesReport any problems with job site or equipment immediatelyDemonstrate role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as promote company cultureEducation and ExperienceCommercial irrigation installation experience - minimum 2 years of experience in irrigation. Strong work ethic. Knowledge of blueprints. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Irrigation certification is a plus.Physical Demands/RequirementsMust be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking and repetitive motions. Must be able to perform medium work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must possess the visual acuity to operate equipment and motor vehicles, perform trades tasks, inspect the work of others, and review work for accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness.Work EnvironmentThe position primarily works outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions and noise levels.BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.
