Seeking Project Engineers for a commercial General Contractor in San Diego Tilt-up experience is a plus


RESONSIBILITIES

  • Project Planning & Coordination: Collaborate with the project manager, create detailed plans, and ensure seamless coordination among subcontractors and stakeholders.
  • Document Control & Compliance: Implement robust document control systems, ensuring adherence to local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Subcontractor Management: Assess and oversee subcontractors, ensuring high-quality workmanship and on-time project delivery.
  • Budget Oversight: Assist in developing budgets, monitor expenses, and provide regular updates to the project manager.
  • Quality Assurance & Control: Enforce stringent quality control measures, conducting regular inspections to meet project specifications.
  • Communication & Reporting: Facilitate project meetings, prepare comprehensive minutes, and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving & Risk Management: Identify and address challenges, proactively developing solutions to ensure project success.
  • Safety Leadership: Promote a safety-first culture, conducting regular meetings and audits to maintain a secure construction environment.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in project management software, with in-depth knowledge of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with proven collaboration abilities.
  • Problem-Solving Aptitude: Strong analytical skills, addressing challenges with a proactive mindset.
  • Degree in Construction Management preferred
  • Commercial project experience preferred
