Job Description:

  • The Global & US Medical Channel Content Director will strategically deliver and create end-to-end medical channel content the engagement and reach of emerging scientific information.
  • The Director leads medical contents strategy and creation, communications, budget management, digital channel selection, and process improvement within the assigned therapeutic area in partnership with Global and US Medical.
  • Create innovative strategic content to support the Vaccines and Antivirals/Internal Medicine teams
  • Deliver strategic Omnichannel content.
  • Cross-functional relationships across US & Global medical, Vaccines Field Medical, and Medical Engagement and Impact.
  • Work closely with external Vendors.
  • Deliver and execute medical channel content strategies across assigned Vaccines and Antivirals area to optimize the engagement and reach of emerging Client scientific data.
  • Strong track record of written and oral communication skills to develop and present scientific information to varied audiences and articulate messages succinctly.
  • Support the planning, conceptualization, production, and dissemination of Global & US medical content across internally and externally facing medical channels.
  • Direct external vendors and manage budgets, timelines, and quality of deliverables.
  • Strong organizational skills to track numerous tasks for multiple simultaneous projects in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Experience with scientific peer-reviewed publications


Hard Skills:

  • Experience creating medical content intended for medical professionals.
  • Creative out of the box thinking
  • Advanced scientific/healthcare degree required (PharmD, PhD, MS, etc.)
  • Therapeutic Expertise
  • Experience in Publications, Medical Content, Congress and Omnichannel.



Basic qualifications:

  • Advanced scientific/healthcare degree required (PharmD, PhD, MS).
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical sector with 3+ years' experience in Medical Affairs/Scientific Publications/Medical Communications.
