No endless meetings here if it can be done today, we're all about getting it done today.About The RoleWe're seeking a motivated, experienced, and sharp Head of Finance to lead the finance department for our US-based business units. This role encompasses responsibilities for FP&A, financial modeling, budgeting, and the preparation of necessary materials for board meetings.You will:Embrace Topsort's "sports team" ethos by collaborating with product, engineering, and sales teams across geographies to enhance sales understanding, share insights, and contribute to securing deals.Serve as a subject matter expert, possessing comprehensive knowledge of the ad industry, Topsort's offerings, the retail media market landscape, and staying abreast of industry trends to effectively engage with knowledgeable customers.Manage invoicing, collections, and cash flow, including oversight of the billing structure and bank/credit card account transfers.Design and implement FP&A tools and software to accelerate decision-making processes.Develop and manage budgets that align with annual OKRs, operating expenditures, and gross burn control.Oversee headcount modeling and payroll, working with HR to support and audit PEO and subsidiary payroll payments.Administer equity awards and the company stock plan, including auditing equity award processes, fundraising activities, share capital changes, and coordinating with the legal team.RequirementsBachelor's or equivalent degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Management.5+ years of relevant experience.Demonstrated understanding of US and international finance practices.Startup agility and drive: ability to work diligently, move swiftly, adapt to a dynamic environment, and engage with complex organizations and technical customers.Aptitude for rapid learning and a strong intellectual curiosity for the industry, coupled with a proactive approach to self-education to become an expert in auctions, retail media, and marketplace monetization.Team-oriented mindset: embracing collaboration as essential to achieving goals.Ability to work onsite in our Boston office 4 days a week, with the capacity for domestic and international travel for industry events and client meetings.Why it's awesome to work at Topsort:Direct feedback and rapid growth: We work hard, set aggressive goals and execute flawlessly to accomplish them.
