Senior EstimatorThis opportunity is with a medium-sized company that has an established reputation in the Connecticut construction market. The organization specializes in delivering high-quality construction projects in the education, healthcare, and commercial space.Job DescriptionThe role involves:Preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects ranging from $2M to $50M.Collaborating with project teams to develop comprehensive budgets and proposals.Analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare estimates.Participating in hard bid and design/build project processes.Communicating with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and scope details.Assisting in identifying and mitigating potential project risks.Providing support during pre-construction and value engineering phases.Maintaining thorough documentation of all estimates and related processes.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
