Med/Peds Opening in Kentucky Located in Flemingsburg, KY - Lexington 65m; Louisville 68m Hospital centrally located between Lexington and Cincinnati BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatric provider for a fabulous opening in Flemingsburg, KY Medical Clinic is looking to replace a long-standing, retiring primary care provider to their busy rural clinic in KY Inherit a patient base and work alongside another full-time Family Medicine provider, 1 full-time NP, and 2 full-time PAs Competitive compensation, benefits, 401(k) with yearly match, student loan, relocation, sign-on, residency stipend, CME and paid vacation Additional compensation available for supervision of advanced practice providers This position will be joining 2 physicians, 3 APP's, and support staff J1 Visas Accepted About the Hospital: Hospital is a 52-bed, acute care facility nestled in the rolling hills of northeastern Kentucky, close to the Ohio River. Established in 1962, the original hospital prospered through the years, and a beautiful new facility was opened in 2008 to accommodate its growth and expansion. The new hospital features many private rooms, expanded operating rooms, a larger Emergency Department, new state-of-the-art magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment and many other enhancements. The new hospital campus boasts approximately 100,000 sq. ft., which enables its more than 260 staff members to provide quality care to residents of Fleming and surrounding counties. The Community: The City of Flemingsburg is a small, rural city located in northeastern Kentucky just south of Maysville and north of Morehead. Nestled in the hills, Flemingsburg is surrounded by rolling farmland. Proud of its heritage and beauty, the city maintains brick-paved sidewalks and acorn-shaped lamps. These serve as daily reminders of the city's rich history and the simpler way of life enjoyed by the residents of Flemingsburg. For more than 200 years, Flemingsburg has served as the county seat of Fleming County. Its proximity to the AA Highway and I-64 has made Flemingsburg a prime location for industry. Over the years, the area's rich and fertile land has attracted many Amish and Mennonite families who now call Fleming County home.
