Senior Technician (PLS-CADD)Paradigm is seeking a Senior Technician (PLS-CADD) to support our client, a leading full-service geospatial solutions provider. We are looking for someone with expertise in transmission line engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and aptitude for applying remotely sensed data within PLS-CADD software to model transmission lines.Type: Contract-to-hireLocation: Portland, OR | OnsiteBenefits: Paradigm offers medical, dental, vision, life, 401K, PTO, and sick days.As a Senior Technician, you will:Model and update lines in the 69kV to 550kV range in PLS-CADD to comply with the client's standards, specifications, preferences, and relevant industry standardsApply remotely sensed data (LiDAR) to existing transmission line models in PLS-CADD with neatness and a small margin of errorPerform structural analysis and design of structures (pole, lattice, framed, and guyed)Specify transmission line componentsRequirements:At least 1-year related experience in transmission line engineeringTechnical Proficiency with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWERProficiency with MicroStation is desirableKnowledge of design techniques, tools and principals involved in the production of transmission line models in PLS-CADDExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detailUS Citizenship is required due to contract obligationsParadigm offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, 401K, PTO, and sick days.About Us, ParadigmWant to love Mondays?
