Job Description:

  1. Designs and Develop Informatica IDMC mappings and mapping tasks to migrate data from Oracle/SQL Server into a snowflake data lake and support a variety of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
  2. Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  3. Collaborates with various stakeholders across different departments and levels within the airport and identify functional areas where organization's data can be optimized to develop and implement effective business solutions.
  4. Recognizes and improves the efficiency and effectiveness of pre-existing Informatica jobs. It involves the identification of areas where these jobs can be enhanced or optimized to achieve better performance thereby contributing to overall system efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Plans deployment by collaborating with the necessary teams to schedule the deployment process, considering factors such as system requirements, data volumes, and deployment schedules.
  6. Automates data pipelines using latest Informatica services like Mass Ingestion and utilizing cloud technologies like Azure Blob Storage and Snowflake
  7. Embraces and adheres to Agile methodologies, by actively participating in meetings like sprint planning, stand-ups, grooming sessions, Kanban board updates, and retrospectives.
  8. Provides technical expertise and support throughout system development life cycle.
  9. Adheres to development standards and communicates effectively within team.
  10. Communicates directly with Informatica Global support and perform troubleshooting using PowerCenter or IDMC framework.
  11. Contributes innovative ideas and perspective to developed effective solution by understanding business processes and requirements.
  12. Creates and deploy a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) process for the data integration platform.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, computer science or a related field

6+ years of experience with Informatica IDMC/PowerCenter platform

3+ years knowledge of Data Warehouse and BI architecture and concepts

5+ years of experience with RDMS systems such as Oracle, SQL Server etc.

5+ years of strong knowledge of database scripting – Snowflake, Oracle, Sql Server

Experience with working in a Linux environment and Shell Scripting

Experience with high volume, critical applications development, and support

Excellent communication and collaboration skills


Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

5+ years of experience in IDMC microservices such as Data Integration, Mass Ingestion, Monitor, Operational Insights

5+ years of thorough knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and experience with working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

5+ years of experience in writing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL language, demonstrated technical innovation, strong understanding of databases, and detailed knowledge of and experience with technical modeling.

5+ years of experience working with Dimensional model and understand data warehousing concepts and SCD logic.

Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport and gains understanding.

Desirable

  • Informatica Foundation/Professional Level Certifications
  • Experience working on Jupyter Notebook, Github, Jenkins, Dataiku and Postman
  • Experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
