Regional Sales ManagerThe Regional Sales Manager drives new client acquisition throughout the solution selection process. This role develops new sales through direct sales efforts and marketing initiatives, utilizing a structured team sales methodology.Although our marketing and inside call teams do a great job generating leads, this role requires a self-starter who can proactively drive pipeline and create new opportunities through initiative and persistence.The Regional Sales Manager must understand and effectively position NexTec's Sage X3 products and services to target industries. Acting as the primary contact for assigned prospects, this individual coordinates with internal team members and partner resources to ensure successful sales and service engagements.This is a fully remote position, and candidates must be located in the United States or Canada.Travel of approximately 50% should be expected.Objectives (Key Outcomes)Manage the Sage X3 sales cycle for new clients.Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quotas.Develop new sales opportunities by building and maintaining a strategic alliance network within the assigned region.ResponsibilitiesProspecting & Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new client opportunities.Opportunity Cultivation: Cultivate opportunities through multi-channel engagements (direct calls, email, campaigns, etc.).Account Management: Serve as the primary contact for prospects; plan and execute sales strategies with alliance partners.Solution Evaluation: Assess and document business requirements to determine product fit.Sales Execution: Manage the full sales cycle from discovery through close in an organized and efficient manner.Partner Collaboration: Maintain productive relationships with Sage and other publisher partners; coordinate with regional and national NexTec offices.Quota Management: Drive sales performance to meet or exceed publisher and internal goals.Product Knowledge: Understand and promote relevant ISVs, Sage products, and NexTec IP offerings.Negotiation & Closing: Create accurate quotes and proposals; negotiate effectively to close deals promptly.Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate sales forecasts and client data in CRM to support marketing and leadership reporting.Market Awareness: Stay current on industry trends, promotions, and publisher campaigns.Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal resources to align sales strategies with service delivery.Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.Education and ExperienceRequiredMinimum of two years of ERP software sales experience, ideally with products such as Acumatica, Sage X3, Microsoft Dynamics (CRM, AX, NAV, GP, SL), or NetSuite.Strong, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience with group or sales presentations.Ability to source new business deals independently, while also leveraging leads and support from Sage X3 and NexTec's Lead Development Team.Deep understanding of longer and more complex sales cycles, including effective pipeline management and multi-stakeholder engagement.Proven ability to build and maintain a sales pipeline and consistently achieve or exceed goals.Strong time management and self-motivation skills.Demonstrated integrity and initiative in achieving sales success.Experience using CRM/database tools.Ability to work remotely with limited supervision.High level of urgency, responsibility, and a positive, can-do attitude.PreferredExperience selling Sage, Acumatica, NetSuite, or Microsoft ERP solutions.Understanding of financial accounting and information systems.Experience selling into process/discrete manufacturing or distribution industries.Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.Physical DemandsThis role regularly requires sitting or standing at a workstation, using vision, hearing, and fine dexterity. Occasional walking, reaching, kneeling, bending, pushing/pulling, and crouching may be required.
