So take a moment to get to know us. We are an independently owned, progressive yet well established hospital in Oakland, California. We offer our associate veterinarians excellent compensation and extremely generous benefits, and we are driven by medical standards of care, not corporate profit goals. We are looking for an extraordinary associate doctor to join our family. Someone who brings their own experience to the hospital but also has a desire to learn, to take on new responsibilities, and to be challenged. We would also love to meet outstanding recent grads who are excited about learning and growing in a safe, supportive environment.
We have an amazingly positive whole hospital team. Our decisions are made by doctors who
seek the best medicine possible, while putting patients and staff first. We are collaborative and “old school” in that we get to love what we do and are actual friends who help each other every day.

  • We have nine doctors, nine licensed veterinary technicians, three technicians working towards licensure, and a large, skilled staff to support us.

Candidates Should Have:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/ VMD) or related degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in California.
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
  • Commitment to continued education and advancing knowledge and skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with hospital team members and willingness to provide leadership to technical staff.
