The goal is to unlock the full potential in each colleague empowering our people to grow as insurance professionals and add more value to our customers and AIG./ph3How You Will Create An Impact/h3ulliThis role may supervise a group of Senior and Associate Underwriters, including designing and monitoring work, development of underwriting and/or marketing skills, and ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines./liliThis level underwriter typically performs highly technical complex assignments within area of expertise./liliProvides technical direction to management, less senior specialists, producers, and claims adjusting personnel./liliResponsible for underwriting the Workers Compensation, General Liability and Auto Liability primary Casualty product lines./liliAccepts, declines, or modifies new and renewal submissions submitted by brokers. Identifies exposures and analysis required to underwrite an account, as well as the coverage policies, and determines the exposures to loss assumed and restricted by the insuring agreements and the exclusions. Manages a book of business and may participate in the formulation of the budget relative to regional budget/goals.
