Class A Or B Cdl OperatorHPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Woods Cross UT is looking for a Class A or B CDL Operator to join their safety conscious team The CDL Operator is responsible for the safe and proper execution of HPC Industrial jobs across all services lines. Supervises and completes single task jobs requiring one crew and completes turnarounds with management oversight at clients site in accordance with client and business requirements and company policies, practices, and procedures. Transitioning Military, this is a great opportunity to leverage your skills and training as you return to civilian life.Why work for HPC-Industrial?Health and Safety is our #1 priorityCompetitive wagesComprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employmentGenerous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursementPositive and safe work environmentsResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer, including hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response and administrative functionsHands-on operation vacuum equipment and hydroblasting equipmentOperation of special equipment, such as Ultra High-Pressure pumpsOperate equipment by energizing the pumping equipment and/or any specialized hydroblasting and/or chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks and cutting equipment being used on the jobMay be required to examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer specificationsPerform routine maintenance on company equipment being used on the jobPerform any and all duties associated with liquid vacs, air machines and jet roddersMay direct a crew of vacuum techniciansMay transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locationsCompletes pre and post trip inspections, drivers logs and complies with all other vehicle policy and DOT requirementsLoading and unloading hosesUnload vacuum truck at the dump siteProvide general maintenance in the fieldPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsRequired qualifications include:Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobsLanguage proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situationsValid drivers license, CDL Class A or B and other requirements of companys driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company businessSmartphone required for Electronic Logging DeviceFederal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be requiredMust be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishersExperience operating a vacuum truckWorking knowledge of operating equipment used in wet and dry vacuumsHigh school diploma/GED or equivalent experienceClass A or B CDL License requiredHAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements, preferredHPC-Industrial, a Clean Harbors company, is the premier industrial cleaning and environmental services company in North America supporting the upstream, downstream, and utility sectors.
