Neonatal Speech Language Pathologist

A leading acute care hospital based in sunny south Florida is currently searching for an experienced Neonatal Speech Language Pathologist to join their award-winning healthcare organization.
This regional leading acute care facility is home to more than 400 inpatient beds and provides a wide variety of services including comprehensive cardiovascular care, emergency and critical care, maternity and pediatrics, perioperative services, and cancer care. This system strives to provide accessible high-quality healthcare to the surrounding areas and has recently been recognized by US News and World Report for being a high-performing center in heart failure, hip replacements, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Reporting to the Neonatologist, the Neonatal Speech Language Pathologist will support infants with feeding and communication skills within an inpatient care setting. Responsibilities include identifying communication or feeding issues, developing and implementing personalized care plans, collaborating with Neonatologist and Rehabilitation teams, educating parents and caregivers, identifies best feeding strategies, monitors patient progress, and stays current with latest neonatal speech language pathology.
What’s Needed to Succeed
- Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Florida or ability to obtain
- Prior working experience is a plus
