Role description Job Title: Cloud Architect Designation: Cloud Architect Location: Mph- Client Site, New York, USJob Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team at Mph- Client Site in New York. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud architecture and be able to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background in cloud technologies, who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cloud initiatives. Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures that align with business objectives. Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with development teams to ensure cloud solutions are integrated seamlessly into existing systems. Conduct cloud readiness assessments and develop migration strategies for transitioning on-premises applications to the cloud. Establish best practices for cloud governance, security, and compliance. Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members and stakeholders on cloud architecture principles. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to continuously improve cloud solutions. Document architectural designs, processes, and procedures for cloud implementations. Mandatory Skills: Strong knowledge of cloud architecture principles and best practices. Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with cloud-native application development and microservices architecture. Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments. Ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. Understanding of data storage solutions and database management in the cloud. Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in cloud architecture or related disciplines are highly desirable.
