Role Description

We are looking for a talented Cloud Application Developer who will be a crucial part of our software team. The selected candidate will have to write scalable, robust, and easy-to-maintain code. Development includes the writing of scripts to deploy and configure a range of AWS/GCP services. This is a full-time on-site role for a Cloud Application Developer located in Rockville, MD.


Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and testing Golang software modules
  • Work on AWS (or GCP) cloud environment.
  • Setup Development environment for various AWS services
  • Create Golang-client for cloud services: Kinesis, Kafka, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Metric databases and data lake
  • Create CloudFormation template or Terraform script for AWS/GCP configuration
  • Able to write system and integration tests
  • Create supporting developer and user documentation


Qualifications

  • Prefer two-years of Golang, python, and JavaScript.
  • Prefer knowledge on Kubernetes/docker
  • Knowledge of API calls authentication frameworks and responses handling
  • Experience using GitHub
  • Experience with Linux and scripting
  • Cloud Experiences with AWS, GCP, Azure API calls
