We are looking for a dedicated Revenue Integrity Charge Analyst like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and Qualifications: The Revenue Integrity Analyst analyzes and resolves billing edits that are holding patient claims from billing by reviewing medical records and other applicable documentation. The RI Analyst assists in reviewing the appropriateness of patient charges and Charge Description Master assigned HCPCS/CPTs by reviewing the medical record, facility protocol, and other applicable documentation. The RI Analyst makes necessary adjustments to patient account charges based on regulatory and payor guidelines.In this role you will: analyze accounts for specialized billing requirements that require a review of the medical record documentation, regulatory information, and HCA standards; identify charging or clinical documentation issues and work with appropriate leadership and ancillary departments to resolve issues; review HCA Regs Communications, applicable CMS transmittals, and Local Coverage Decisions (LCD) to assess impact to Revenue Integrity procedures and implement changes as needed; serve as a liaison between facilities Administration, Shared Services Center, and ancillary department directors regarding charging issues, clinical documentation issues and revenue opportunities; provide charge review results and develop and coordinate educational in-services for facility staff related to charging and billing issues; coordinate retrospective, concurrent, patient requested, and external billing audits; and review denial trends for documentation and charging opportunities.What Qualifications you will need: 1 year of related experience required.Parallon provides full-service revenue cycle management, or total patient account resolution, for HCA Healthcare.
