Ratings Advisory AssociateThis role is within Lockton's reinsurance division. Advisory team members partner with our broking and analytics staff to create reinsurance solutions for our Lockton Re clients and prospects. This client facing role works to provide unique insight through analysis of client-specific and publicly available data.Responsibilities include:Client facing interact with internal teams and directly with clients and prospects on Ratings Advisory projectsAct as a "go-to" for clients on rating agency criteria and capital management strategiesDemonstrate expertise of rating agency criteria to help clients achieve their rating objectivesCapital and financial modeling analyze regulatory and rating agency capital modelsFinancial benchmarking analysis provide benchmarking analysis based on U.S. statutory data, global data, AM Best ratings, and S&P ratingsProvide insight into industry trends, market research and as well as ad-hoc requests from clientsSupport the development of innovative tools for internal and external useWork alongside many internal teams (broking, actuarial, catastrophe modeling) and manage client deliverablesFocus on innovation with a view to constantly improve our process and efficiencyQualifications include:Bachelor's Degree ideally in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or related major0-6 years' experience in Reinsurance, Ratings Advisory, or Insurance Accounting preferred.Experience with or knowledge of insurance financial strength ratings preferredDemonstrated successful track record of advising and/or consulting with clientsExcellent market research, analytical, communication, and presentation skillsOrganizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines requiredDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation and provide solutions to standard and non-standard issuesDemonstrated interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility to create a positive work environmentProficient user of Microsoft ExcelAbility and willingness to travel
