Our client, a fast-growing, design-driven jewelry business, is seeking a sharp and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their Finance team. You will keep the financial and inventory world running smoothly while working in a vibrant, collaborative environment. If you enjoy reconciling accounts, tracking inventory, and helping a business shine financially, this role is calling your name Salary/Hourly Rate: $20/hr - $33/hr (based on experience) Position Overview: As a Bookkeeper, you will not just enter numbers; you will ensure the financial heartbeat of the company stays accurate and organized. From reconciling accounts to tracking high-value inventory, your work will directly support daily operations and critical business decisions. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, playful yet professional environment where attention to detail is truly valued. Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper: Enter and maintain accurate financial and operational data. Record invoices, bills, payments, and expenses. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements. Maintain detailed inventory records, including SKUs, costs, descriptions, and transfers. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Support monthly and year-end bookkeeping activities. Organize and maintain digital and physical records. Communicate with vendors and internal team members as needed. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality across all records. Required Experience/Skills for the Bookkeeper: Proven experience in bookkeeping and/or data entry. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar is preferred. Excel or Google Sheets proficiency. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Preferred Experience/Skills for the Bookkeeper: Experience in jewelry, retail, or inventory-based environments. Knowledge of both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required. Benefits: Competitive hourly compensation.
