Contracts Manager – ConstructionOn-site: PasadenaContract role: 3 to 6 monthsAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee contract administration and compliance for construction projects. This role requires expertise in managing subcontractor agreements, negotiating union contracts, and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction operations and a proven ability to mitigate risk while driving successful project outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and unionsEnsure compliance with contractual obligations, labor agreements, and industry regulationsManage contract lifecycle from initiation through closeoutCollaborate with project managers, legal teams, and finance to resolve contract-related issuesMonitor performance and enforce terms to minimize risk and protect company interestsMaintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reportingQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum 5+ years of experience in contract management within the construction industryStrong knowledge of subcontractor agreements and union negotiation processesExcellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with construction law, labor regulations, and compliance standardsProficiency in contract management software and MS Office SuitePreferred:Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial construction projectsCertification in Contract Management or related disciplineCompensation: $48 to $57 per hourBenefit offerings: include medical, dental, vision, additional voluntary benefits, 401K plan.
