Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our state-of-the-art facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role requires individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the operational integrity of our warehouse equipment and systems. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery, including forklifts, conveyor belts, and automated systems. Ensuring the safety and efficiency of our logistics operations is paramount.Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with machinery. Conduct safety checks and ensure all equipment meets regulatory standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities. Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and minimize downtime. Assist in the installation and setup of new warehouse equipment. Adhere to strict safety protocols and ensure the use of appropriate PPE. Support the overall logistics team in maintaining an efficient and safe work environment. Qualifications: Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasks that require physical exertion. Experience with forklifts and other material handling equipment is highly desirable. A solid grasp of safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and the correct use of PPE, is mandatory. This position is critical to our logistics infrastructure, requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to operational excellence.
