DispatcherRole Summary:The Dispatcher will act as a communication point for all calls: coordinate requests, transmit messages and track vehicles. This individual would enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information.Role Priorities / Responsibilities:Ensure all route service drivers are working in/on pre-assigned routes/tasks each dayAnswer customer calls and dispatch drivers and equipmentDocument all callsCoordinate with supervisor to allocate, schedule, and assign jobs to the workforceCoordinate with the technicians, billable or non-billable ticketAssign the appropriate equipment and employees to corresponding jobsEnter data into computer system and keep dispatch records/logs and status reportsCoordinate with billing personnelAddress problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutionsPlans and organizes appropriate work time and resource requirementsUse radio, phone or computer to send crews, vehicles or other field units to appropriate locationsMonitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their scheduleProvide field units with information about orders, traffic, obstacles, and requirementsUnderstand and identify customer safety requirements of on-site personnel and communicate to Office Manager and Ops ManagerCommunicate all issues to Ops Manager in a timely and efficient mannerAbility to prioritize calls according to urgency and importanceHave a firm understanding of logistics, routes, and associated equipmentAbility to remain calm and composedMust be able to multi-taskAbility to take appropriate action with little supervisionResults oriented and driven to complete customer jobsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organization skillsProficient computer and telephone skillsEssential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Stallion Infrastructure Services is an equal opportunity employer.
