We are looking for you to join our team as a Business Management Manager 1 based out of Linthicum, Maryland. This position is an onsite position that offers the 9/80 schedule.The Business Management Manager 1 will lead a program area in Advanced Systems within the Advanced Mission Capabilities Business Unit, reporting to the Business Manager of Advanced Systems. Business Management Manager 1 roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysisPreparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecastCompliance and financial reporting in support of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly Indicated Finals (IF)EVMS oversight with COBRA reporting to satisfy internal/external deliverables.Comprehensive Estimate-at-Complete (CEAC) preparation and reviewAssistance with contract negotiationsSupport of pricing and proposal activitiesReview of contractual documents, including Technical Task OrdersSubcontractor invoicing and fundingOn-going collaboration with the customer and functional teamsManagement and development of Program Control Analyst (PCA) staffNCTA Management and ReportingBudget/Cost Center Management and ReportingBasic Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional industry related experience - OR - a Master's degree with 3 years of professional industry related experience.Will consider 9 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirementPrior experience in finance, accounting and/or program controlUnderstanding of DOD contracts, government cost accounting standards, and the FARPrior experience in a Program Control Environment - setting up cost control system, and monitoring costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control systemExperience with Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts and ability to apply them to multiple contracts, CLINs and control accounts.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, SAP, and Business Warehouse (BW)Prior experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management.US CitizenshipA current/active DoD Secret clearance is required.Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related disciplineMBA or CPA certificationPrevious experience managing/supervising program, project, or personnel.
