Our Client, a specialty contractor in barriers and markings is seeking to add a Financial Analyst due to heavy business growth. This role will work ONSITE in Pewaukee, WI and will work standard and flexible hours onsite M-F, 8am-5pm. This is a full-time role that pays in the $80K range with an annual discretionary bonus. This role also offers strong benefit package – Health, Dental and Vision covered at 80% - and a 401K plan that sees a 20% reinvestment in the employee.


The key to this role is past experience in financial reporting and analysis with the ability to work with a financial team and deliver results and recommendations to leadership. This role will report to the Controller and work with a team of 6 financial/accounting professionals.


This role:

  • Completes administrative, organization and analysis tasks to monitor the financial health of the business.
  • Creates and consolidates financial statements.
  • Analyzes financial data and delivers reports to leadership making recommendation for change/upgrades.
  • Assists in the implementation of new Accounting/Finance related Software (PowerBI)
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports.
  • Assists Controller and Owners with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensures all accounting practices are in compliance with legal guidelines and established accounting principles.
  • Assists with billing and tax documentation preparation.
  • Works with the corporate financial team to create internal controls and policies.
  • Collaborates with the IT department to maintain financial records and system processes.
  • Identifies solutions to discrepancies in financial records.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting.
  • 3+ years experience in a Finance/Accounting role.
  • 3+ years experience performing financial analysis and delivering financial reports
  • Strong skills in Microsoft suite of tools including expert level MS-Excel skills


Preferred

  • Masters Degree
  • Experience in the construction/building industry
  • Experience with PowerBI software
  • Experience with Vista by Viewpoint or any Construction Software Package
  • Experience with DocuWare
