A Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant, (PTA), position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located on Long Island in Melville, NY.

Facility is a 5 Star SNF located in Melville, NY. We are very easily accessible as we are located on the service road of the LIE. Overall, we are a very busy short term rehab and long term care units and you will be treating a blend of both patient populations. We have an extremely spacious rehab gym and a rehab team that excels clinically. We pride ourselves in having excellent patient outcomes. We are looking for a team player who works well within the rehab department as well as with the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements:
Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
Work well with others in a team setting.
