As a Factory Infrastructure Delivery Manager, you will lead a team of IT/OT Infrastructure Specialist supporting IT infrastructure (network and hardware) throughout the Jefferson City manufacturing facility. You are responsible for implementing and executing the IT capabilities from planning through run support for approved Business and Support-Function demands.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Daily IT infrastructure delivery and support operations across all factory business area​s
  • Manage factory Cisco infrastructure components to ensure 24x7 factory operations
  • Coordinate Cybersecurity response in case of cyber-attack, with a focus on maintaining factory operations
  • ​Resolve and escalate issues related to factory infrastructure​ to minimize impact to factory operations
  • Participate in internal factory audits to identify and remediate non-compliance issues (focus on factory infrastructure)​
  • Participate in Hitachi Energy IT and Infosec audits to identify and remediate non-compliance issues
  • Deliver and support site tasks for factory Infrastructure projects​ and global infrastructure projects/ services being deployed onsite
  • Drive Infrastructure optimization to improve cost and performance (factory infrastructure)


Your Background:

  • 10+ years of general technical experience across infrastructure and software applications domains
  • 5+ years of proven hands-on experience managing an Information Technology/Operation Technology (IT/OT) team that implements and supports infrastructure operations for a 24 x 5 manufacturing facility.
  • Previous involvement in full network design and build outs of a new (greenfield) or existing (upgrade) facility
  • A hands-on work philosophy with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Proven understanding of systems and technologies, including hardware (Servers), software, networking (Cisco), and industrial control systems (PLC).
  • Must be Certified in one or more of the Cisco certification offerings
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Enterprise Infrastructure
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Data Center
  • Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate
  • Proven technical expertise to analyze and troubleshoot issues that arise with a focus on delivery high solutions.
  • Proven analytical, conceptual, strategic planning, influencing, negotiations and execution skills.
  • Proven experience in Shared Services IT and Business / Local IT is required, ideally including experience working in Factory IT either as Regional IT Leader or Site-Specific IT Leader
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to develop and communicate objectives, inspire and motivate staff (direct and virtual), and maintain alignment with business strategy and business stakeholders
  • Manufacturing industry and process knowledge to understand the commercial drivers of an organization and translate between these business needs and OT / IT needs.
  • Stakeholder management in a matrix environment will be a key part of this role
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement and expectation management skills, proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated leadership, including team leadership and organizational skills, in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Candidate must already have US work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
