  • Able to lay PCBs, and experience with circuit modeling & schematic capture
  • Can create engineering verification test plans based on product requirements

Plusses:

  • Experience with RF-based devices/systems
  • Experience with BLE, LF communication, or flex circuit design
  • Experience with design/integration of single-chip, low-power wireless receivers (experience with TI, Silicon Labs, Freescale, Atmel, Analog Devics, Broadcom, Marvell is highly desired)
  • Experience integrating firmware
  • Understanding of codes and standards (such as UL and IEEE 802.14)
  • Bare PCB soldering ability

The Electrical Engineer plays a major role in the success of developing new products. This candidate will bring their own ideas and experience to the current product design team. They are key to keeping the products new, competitive, and marketable.


Responsibilities:

  • Electrical design/development for next gen products
  • Continuous improvement of design for existing products
  • Could be supporting current products with alternative components as needed
  • Design verification and execution documenting results
  • Testing/evaluation of legacy or third party products
  • Research and innovation design solutions to maintain cost effectiveness
