Safety, Health & Environment Sr ManagerAECOM Hunt is seeking an experienced Airport Construction - Safety, Health & Environment Sr Manager with airport safety experience for an ongoing construction project in Chicago, IL.Job Responsibilities:Assists the ES&H Director in the formulation and administration of the company's environmental safety and health policies and programs for the home office and field operations.Assists in the supervision of all ES&H activities and in the selection of related facilities/project personnel.Assists in the planning and conducting of training for project personnel and is responsible for ES&H in the areas of policy, procedures, inspection, regulatory compliance and incident investigation.May represent the Company on technical and professional committees and assists in local, State, Federal and industrial standards, codes or regulatory formation.About Construction Management AECOM HuntFounded in 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana, AECOM Hunt has been building for over 70 years. From iconic stadiums and arenas, next-gen transportation hubs and sustainable healthcare and academic buildings, AECOM Hunt's expertise, leadership and dedication are unparalleled.Minimum Requirement:BA/BS and 10 years of relevant safety, health and/or environment construction experience, including 2 years of leadership or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Preferred Qualifications:CSP certification a plus10 years of relevant safety, health and/or environment construction experience and 2 years of leadership experience a plusPrior experience on large infrastructure construction projects.Experience as a Safety Professional on projects 1BB in nature.Airport construction safety preferredMicrosoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).In order to receive a security badge at the client worksite to enable access to secure portions of the facility for which you are being hired to perform services, you may be required to pass the client's security screening process, which will include, but may not be limited to, Homeland Security background check and fingerprinting. Should this be required it will be done after you have commenced employment, and your participation in that process and a pass rating by the client are both conditions of your continued employment by AECOM.Valid Drivers License.This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.This position is not hybrid nor remote.For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM's background check process to ensure compliance with the company's driving standards.
