The position is Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 11 PM. Starting pay is $23.30 per hour. Paid orientation and training are available. The applicant is required to have 1+ years of previous security supervisory experience.The Security Shift Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. The Shift Supervisor will act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.Qualifications/requirements include:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAt least 18 years of ageEffective written and oral communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwritingAbility to read and understand all operating procedures and instructionsLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local lawsDriving positions: must possess a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experienceIntermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technologyAbility to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficientlyAbility to display exceptional customer service and communication skillsAbility to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficientlyAbility to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heatOccasionally lift or carry up to 40 poundsClimb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shiftStand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of timeAllied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
