We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine NursePractitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in Athens, OH.This position offers a dynamic environment where you will work closely with amultidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care in a busy emergencydepartment. In this role, you will work11 a.m. to 11 p.m. shifts as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in a facilitywith a daily patient census of 31.6 and an average of 5-6 nightly admissions.You will collaborate closely with physicians providing 24-hour coverage,ensuring seamless case management and continuity of care. Your responsibilitieswill include utilizing the EPIC EMR system for all patient documentation andcare management. Additionally, you will coordinate with various specialtyservices, including Pulmonology (available Monday through Friday with eveningand weekend calls), Surgery, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Pediatrics,Ophthalmology, Interventional Radiology (including procedures such asparacentesis, thoracentesis, bone marrow biopsies, and port placements), andPicc line nursing.
Requirements:
· Board Certification as an NP or PA.
· Active OH License (or in the process ofobtaining one).
· Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
· Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
