Small friendly compounding pharmacy seeking a pharmacy technician. You will work with pharmacists, technicians and other pharmacy staff to fulfill various duties.

Responsibilities:

- Data Entry: Scan and process prescriptions using RS Software (Script Assist, Compound Assist and Prescription Assist).

- Customer Service: Provide friendly customer service over the phone while confirming patient information.

- Compounding: Set up and clean compounding labs on a regular basis. Assist compounding pharmacists in the lab counting capsules, filling syringes and other duties under the direct supervision of our pharmacist.

- Documentation: Maintain proper prescription and compounding records according to State, Federal and USP regulations.

- Other responsibilities assigned by pharmacists and supervisors.

Qualifications:

- Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication and problem solving skills.

- Prior healthcare experience is a plus but not required.

- Working knowledge of USP 795, 797 and 800 is a plus but not required.

We offer a competitive salary, and no late nights (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, Possible some Saturdays 10:00 - 3:00). Benefits are available.
