Export Compliance SpecialistThe Export Compliance Specialist assists the government in facilitating export-related policy activities and support the F-35 Lighting II Joint Program Office (JPO) Export Compliance Office including preparation and coordination of presentations for committee review, interacting with applicable interagency partners such as Department of State for export licenses, and interpreting/maintaining export-related documentation.Required Skills (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):Demonstrated knowledge and experience with International Traffic in Arms regulations (ITAR) licensing applications and review process.Demonstrated knowledge of aircraft programs and systems.Air Combat Command (ACC) and/or Acquisition background.Demonstrated knowledge of Air Staff/OSD organizations and processesKnowledge of Service and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS, life-cycle management of military acquisition programs.Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated knowledge of flat-level briefings and senior Principal-level interface.Negotiation abilities: able to work with multiple organizations to reach outcomes.Years of Experience/Education Requirements:Bachelors Degree or 5-7 years of experience related to the labor categoryClearance:SecretTravel:Must be willing to travel short term.Additional Information:This job description is not designed to cover or contain all job duties required of the employee.
