Utility Cleaner Lead Joint Base Anacostia-BollingEMI is seeking a Utility Cleaner Lead to support custodial operations at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. This is a working lead position that plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of communal spaces, restrooms, work areas, and exterior zones. The Utility Cleaner Lead works under the direction of the Project Manager/Site Lead and is responsible for coordinating daily custodial tasks and ensuring service quality through hands-on execution and reporting in compliance with contractual obligations.$34.86/ hr. plus employer paid health benefits and pensionKey responsibilities include:Support the Project Manager/Site Lead by coordinating daily custodial assignments and reporting task completionMaintain awareness of supply inventory and communicate restocking needsCollaborate with the Quality Manager to ensure custodial tasks meet established performance standards and inspection criteriaSupport quality assurance efforts by reporting cleanliness findings and assisting with corrective actions as directed by the Quality ManagerPerform cleaning duties including:Mopping tile and concrete floors; vacuuming carpeted areasSweeping, dusting, scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and stripping floorsCleaning and disinfecting restrooms, breakrooms, kitchens, and drinking fountainsEmptying trash receptacles and maintaining exterior cleanlinessDusting furniture, equipment, blinds, and fixturesCleaning entrances, exits, and exterior/interior glass surfacesMaintaining floorsReport facility damage, vandalism, or maintenance needs to the Project Manager/Site LeadOperate cleaning equipment such as electric buffers, vacuums, and wringersSafely mix and use cleaning chemicals per instructionsEnsure cleaning materials are stored properly and safelyAssist with furniture movement and relocation as neededFollow all safety protocols and site-specific regulationsPerform other position-related duties as assignedEssential skills include:Familiarity with standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipmentUnderstanding of the Hazardous Materials Information System (HMIS)Ability to read and follow instructions, especially regarding chemical use
