AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Nuclear Medicine Tech in Odessa, Texas, 79761Pay Information$2,934 per weekAbout The PositionJob Title: Nuclear Medicine Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in profession License: State licensed Certifications: ARRT (N), BLS, CNMT, NMTCB Must-Have: CNMT or ARRT (N) certification is required. Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred. Description: The position requires a qualified nuclear medicine technician. The technician will be responsible for conducting various nuclear medicine procedures. Experience with specific procedures, including but not limited to HIDA scans, PET scans, and MUGA scans, is necessary. The technician must be proficient in drawing venous blood and starting and maintaining IVs. Knowledge of storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials is required. The role involves working with diverse patient age groups. The technician will work in a fast-paced environment and may be required to float to different areas as needed. Strong interdisciplinary support is expected in this role.
