Material HandlerJob Title: Material Handler Cherry Picker OperatorLocation: Eagan, MNSchedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (1st Shift)Pay Rate: $21.00 per hourPosition Type: Full-Time (Onsite)Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Logistics Supervisor, the Material Handler is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation (with a focus on cherry picker use), inventory cycle counting, and general material movement. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to operational and safety standards while supporting overall warehouse productivity.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Warehouse Operations (35%) Perform a variety of warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation (including cherry picker), and cycle counting.Performance Standards (25%) Carry out daily tasks in alignment with established performance measurement guidelines for the contract.Order Picking & Inventory Handling (20%) Accurately pick and pack orders, audit materials, induct totes, stage products, and assist with loading and unloading trucks.Administrative & Documentation Tasks (10%) Maintain accuracy and organization of warehouse paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, and related documents.Technical & System Support (10%) Provide basic technical and maintenance support related to the automated packing system during core production hours.Additional ResponsibilitiesMaintain a basic working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements, if applicable to the site.Follow all performance, safety, and quality guidelines as required by company policies and customer standards.Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.QualificationsPrevious warehouse experience preferred.Experience operating a cherry picker forklift required or strongly preferred.Ability to read and interpret warehouse documents, including pick sheets and bills of lading.Comfortable working at heights when operating a cherry picker.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Ability to meet productivity and performance expectations.Basic computer or RF scanner skills are a plus.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
