Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the sales team to assist customers on-site with project implementation and the integration of new technologies and innovations.
  • Aid the sales team by conducting product demonstrations, overseeing full-scale trials, and comprehending customer needs.
  • Take charge of equipment setup, performance, and trial outcomes, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and execute preventative and corrective maintenance on-site to meet customer service requirements.
  • Maintain a daily Field Service Project Log to gather data for continuous improvement endeavors.
  • Offer feedback and share insights to support ongoing development and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Participate in project planning with Regional and Sales Project Management teams to ensure seamless project initiation and execution.
  • Effectively communicate with customers during project planning and on-site phases, managing evolving project scope requirements.
  • Provide clients with training on the proficient, safe, and productive use of industrial coatings equipment.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 10 years experience leading coating projects, with expertise in estimating, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Preferred associate's degree in a technical discipline.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical engineering design and assembly drawings, with proficiency in basic electrical and mechanical tasks.
  • Strong adherence to site safety policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated leadership and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills with a strong sense of urgency to ensure customer uptime.
  • Effective communication abilities across all levels.
  • Proficiency in basic computer systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, task, and time management proficiency.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively, including weekends as necessary.
  • Preferred experience across various industries, including Oil and Gas, Large Shipyards, Water Storage, and Steel Fabrication.
