Overview:
We are partnering with a leading organization in Illinois that is seeking a dedicated ESG Data Analyst to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting the company’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data initiatives. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data collection, analysis, and the management of ESG-related projects. The role offers the flexibility to work 100% remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Support ESG Data Initiatives:
- Perform sample data collections, ad hoc reconciliations, metric requirements codifications, and data ingestions.
- Ensure timely and accurate data deliveries to enhance the usability of internal tools.
Data Analysis and Quality Assurance:
- Analyze and interpret ESG-related data sets for quality assurance.
- Review ESG metrics, entities, source documentation, and internal tooling to meet project deliverables.
Question Intake and Processing:
- Manage the daily intake and processing of questions from ESG analysts.
- Delegate queries to subject matter experts to ensure timely responses and prevent delays.
Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong working relationships in cross-geographical and cross-cultural settings.
- Collaborate with key ESG groups, including data engineers, product development teams, and subject matter experts to support overall ESG product delivery.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in supporting ESG data initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze data sets.
- Advanced Excel, Power BI
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with diverse teams.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with ESG metrics and related tools is a plus.
Tools and Technologies:
- Experience with Quentic or FigBytes.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools.
