Position Summary

To provide for the day-to-day cares of the residents/tenants in accordance with established company policies and procedures, standards, and guidelines; and current federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the campus and as directed by the supervisor by performing the following duties.

In this role you will:Serve as a mentor and trainer for new CNAs joining the teamSupervise, monitor, and evaluate the performance of new CNAsRound in resident care areas to ensure quality nursing assistant services are being deliveredProvide leadership in executing the goals and objectives of the nursing assistant onboarding program to include but not limited to setting expectations to meet standards of the facility: dress code, attendance, communication and professionalismEnsure that training is carried out with professionalism, enthusiasm and energyConduct group huddles for educational needsAssist with group in-services and competencies as requested by nursing leadershipAs a mentor, will still routinely complete all routine CNA duties and responsibilities whether assigned a mentee or notWhen not acting in a mentor capacity, will be part of the regular CNA staffing rotationQualified candidates will have:Successful completion of a state approved Nurses Assistant course and certified by the State of NebraskaSuccessful completion of a state approved Medication Aide course and certified by the State of Nebraska preferred, but not required Be a minimum of at least 16 years of ageExperience preferred, but not requiredWhat's in it for you:Competitive benefits package including low premiums, short-term disability, long-term disability, HSA contribution matching, 401(k) with company match, and moreFlexible scheduling for many positions including on-call, full-time, and part-time optionsCompetitive wage scales including shift differential for qualifying positionsTuition reimbursement and scholarship programs up to $3,000 per yearFinancial wellness and freedom through access to your earned wages prior to your pay dateA great culture where we live out our mission "To celebrate life in environments we create by delivering exceptional service and superior value through innovative leadership in personalized care."In 1989, Nye Health Services was founded on the philosophy that people deserve services that recognize individuality and are tailored to their unique needs.
