We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic Transportation Manager to enhance the efficiency of our transportation operations while adhering to budget constraints. Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop performance optimization suggestions related to dedicated networks.
  • Develop and implement KPIs to maximize fleet utilization (turns per truck per week) across all fleets.
  • Assist in developing policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality control and cost containment.
  • Help develop recommendations on optimal fleet sizing (where to add/reduce trucks, trailers, etc.) and high-potential lanes for each fleet.
  • Perform shipment assignment analysis (OTR, Dedicated, Fleet Backhaul, Hybrid).
  • Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency, productivity, and processes.
  • Maintain appropriate records and prepare reports.
  • Coordinate logistics activities with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Support additional projects as necessary.


Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, or logistics is highly preferred; other relatable experiences are also applicable.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in Transportation Management.
  • Dedicated transportation experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word,
  • Advanced skills in Excel/VBA, Power BI
  • High level of business acumen and communication and presentation skills throughout varying levels of the organization, from line-level employees up to the C-suite
