Shift Information:

  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or other related field
  • 3+ years of post-university experience in advanced analytics in data science and applying data analytics methods to automotive industry datasets
  • 1+ year(s) of proven experience completing projects with various data sources
  • 3+ years of knowledge in using statistical computer languages (Python, SLQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets
  • 1+ year(s) of expertise regarding a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages and drawbacks
  • Intermediate knowledge of deep learning architectures (RNN, CNN, LSTM, etc.) and frameworks (Tensor flow, Keras, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience in statistical languages and tools
  • 3+ years of experience in problem-solving with an emphasis on product development


Preferred Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D.
  • Process/project management experience or training/certifications


Essential Functions:

  • Drive data for future company processes and products
  • Collaborate with various business units to understand the business demands regarding Artificial Intelligence and Quality Assessment
  • Conduct advanced analytical tasks
  • Design deep learning models, data mining, and computer vision to enable the company to improve its products, services, and processes
  • Analyze critical business data and recommend improvements
  • Work with large datasets consisting predominantly of images, conducting advanced analytics tasks
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data-gathering techniques
  • Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to datasets
  • Coordinate various functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
  • Serve as an internal consultant to other developers and engineers, assisting in all phases of product lifecycle development
  • Advise developers and engineers on the latest data analytics technologies and help process matters regarding development and support
  • Provide necessary on-the-job training and development of associates and contractors within the team
  • Maintain accurate, meaningful, and updated technical and nontechnical documentation of all aspects of assigned areas
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
