Water Reclamation ManagerPratt Paper (GA), LLC has a need for a Water Reclamation Manager, located in Conyers, GA. This is located at our Wastewater plant.The Water Reclamation Manager will work independently and as part of the production team to support production efforts of the paper mill. The Water Reclamation Manager will be directly responsible for the management of all process waste water systems.The Water Reclamation Manager's primary responsibilities prior to and during start up include, but are not limited to:Become familiar with all equipment and processes necessary to successfully pretreat process waste water from the mill.Understand the installation and operation of all systems associated with the waste water pretreatment facility.Participate in the commissioning of the waste water pretreatment systemsParticipating in supplier negotiations for biomass, chemicals and services that will be required to support the successful operation of the waste water pretreatment facility.After startup, the Water Reclamation Manager's primary responsibilities as part of the mill operational team include, but are not limited to:Maintaining safety standards in and around the WWTPMaintaining chemical inventoriesMaintaining chemical delivery systemsDetermining, reporting and optimizing costsPerforming process control laboratory analysesCollecting and tracking compliance samples and equipmentMaintaining process control and permit compliance dataMonitoring, maintaining and reporting Air and Water PermittingTroubleshoot, diagnose, and solve issues related to the operation of the WWTPInterface with E&I and maintenance departments to insure proper corrective and preventative maintenance is performed on all equipmentTrain, develop, and direct WWTP staffA (4) year Bachelor Degree in one of the following disciplines is preferred and/or comparable experience:Pulp and Paper Science, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Environmental Science or a related field.Paper Mill experience is preferred.The candidate must speak and write English at a college level.The candidate must be able to understand and use simple conversions and algebraic formulas.The candidate must be able to troubleshoot mechanical and biological systems.Chemistry Microbiology BiologyMicrosoft Office Products Computer Literacy TroubleshootingProcess Engineering Mechanical aptitude Electrical aptitudeEmployee is regularly required to walk, talk, and hearEmployee is frequently required to stand, climb ladders, bend and kneelThe employee is occasionally required to sitThe employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 poundsVision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusThe Waste Water Pretreatment Facility is comprised of tanks and processes both outside and within a process control building. Laboratory facilities and computer workspace are within the process control building. Work will be conducted both inside and outside, year round in all types of weather typical to this region.Employee will be measured on the performance goals established by Mill General Manager.
