As a Software Engineering Manager Sr within PNC's SST Legal Audit CSR organization, you will be based either in Pittsburgh, PA. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion.Required Skills:Manage a group of software engineers/system reliability and support engineers across multiple product lines. Minimum 7 years of prior management neededOversee the talent management of engineering talent, including recruiting, mentoring, and enabling a culture of learning with a focus on engineering craftsmanship.Collaborates with various product owners and platform architecture to ensure capabilities support the intended business value and meets the governance and best practices of the platform.Identify issues, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.Leads the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions across multiple product lines.Leads complex problem solving and resolves workflow problems through automation optimization.Experience in Incident Management, Problem Management, and Operations Management and collaboration with SRC/SRE teams.Strong customer focus and ability to act with a "Sense of Urgency" in facilitating and gaining prompt incident resolution.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate a technology incident to lines of business in a customer-focused business language to all levels of the organization.Legal, Banking or Financial Industries experience especially in the area of Market Risk Management is a plusTechnical Expertise:In depth experience in maintaining vendor-hosted applications within regulated enterprise technology organizationsFamiliarity with open-source tools and agile development environments.Familiarity with Identify Access Management (IAM) frameworks.Familiarity with technology service management (ITSM) concepts and toolsExperience working with multiple integration and streaming technologies: Kafka, ELK, Microservices, IIB, ETL, Informatica, SQL Loader, PL/SQL etc.Experience working with Machine Learning Model Execution, relational data (Oracle), non-relational data (JSON, YAML, etc.), Data Quality, Python, Spark.Experience with Version Control Systems (Git)PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.Job DescriptionManage a group of software engineers/managers across multiple product lines.Oversee the talent management of engineering talent, including recruiting, mentoring, and enabling a culture of learning with a focus on engineering craftsmanship.Foster technological innovation, ensuring adoption of current trends, capabilities, and practices emerging in the market.
