Role: Analyst, Program Management, DA&T The Analyst, Program Management, DA&T supports strategic initiatives that align information systems development with business objectives for business applications and/or technologies across the Data, Analytics and Technology space. The role supports the program/project management of system integrators and internal resource covering managers/leads, engineers/developers, testers, and business analysis. The position will initially concentrate on Ceded Reinsurance, with other projects added when appropriate. The candidate must have a background in P&C insurance, ceded/assumed reinsurance and financial reporting with the ability to work with Finance to ensure data is delivered accurately and timely. The candidate should have strong attention to detail, keen assessment of data quality and ability to reconcile datasets. The role works closely with Finance business stakeholders to identify issues and confirm results to ensure accuracy and completeness for the Ceded Reinsurance delivery. The role reports to the VP, Program Manager, DA&T and is remote with occasional travel to key Vantage Locations. The base salary expectation for this role is between $85,000 and $120,000. Actual base salary for the selected candidate may be higher commensurate with candidate experience; title and expectations will be similarly dependent on candidate experience. Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Assist in maintaining project plans, timelines and reports under the guidance of the VP Program Manager, DA&T. Assist in data validations across multiple platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness among data sources. Reconcile historic transactions with data output from Ceded Reinsurance application, identify variances and track resolutions. Provide ongoing oversight and support to Finance team to ensure accurate treaty contract and facultative reinsurance setup. Assist in preparation of SOPs and user guides for training purposes. Review requirements and conduct quality assurance testing on reports. Work closely with financial team to identify and maximize opportunities for automation and data quality. Collaborate and communicate effectively with the Finance team per scope, requirements, schedule, and testing. Ideal Candidate Profile: Bachelors degree and/or 5 or more years of related insurance experience in the Property & Casualty market. Strong data reconciliation and data quality validation skills. Strong Excel skills including proficiency with formulas, pivot tables, vlookups, and data analysis. Working experience and understanding financial systems including Cede Reinsurance Treaty (Quota Share, Excess of Loss) & Facultative. Understanding with P&C Insurance financial operations including areas and concepts within GAAP and STAT. Understanding of financial accounting areas covering premium, commissions, claims, cash, UPR, DAC, foreign currency including identification of realized/unrealized gains/losses, etc. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation & consultative skills for effective collaboration and delivery with all levels of Finance team. A strong sense of urgency to keep complex projects moving despite competing priorities and potential barriers.
