Purpose Legal is currently seeking a Contract Review Manager (CRM) for document review projects. This is a remote position based in the U.S.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing teams of 2 to 50+ project-based attorneys and ensuring the quality of the review and associated work product. Additionally, the well-qualified Review Manager will be accountable for planning, coordinating, and directing document review projects while being mindful of budgeting and timeline projections. Highly skilled candidates will be responsible for training teams of attorneys on substantive legal issues of each matter, while providing technical/review platform support as needed. Review Managers are expected to be client-facing and to do so with a high degree of professionalism and expertise. The well-qualified candidate will excel at successfully communicating with the Senior Review Management Team, as well as review teams, while in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited US institution required.
- Must be actively licensed and in good standing with at least 1 US Bar, with no discipline history.
- 3-5 years or more experience leading document review projects/teams.
- Expert level knowledge of Relativity including “back-end” functions. Relativity certification is strongly preferred.
- Must possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with various review platforms and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as with teams of various sizes.
- Position will be 100% remote.
Technical Requirements
- Windows 10/11 or MacBook OS 10.14 or later with a secure WiFi or ethernet connection—hardwire ethernet connection preferred. iPads and tablets are not currently supported. Second monitor strongly recommended.
- Functional camera or webcam, microphone and speakers are required.
- Must have private, secure workspace. Work in a public space such as a library or coffee shop is strictly prohibited.
- A smartphone may be required for multi-factor authentication.
- Users will be required to utilize the secure remote desktop and authenticator—instructions to be provided with each project confirmation email.
