Job DescriptionLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Post Surgical Job Type: Full Time, Nights 7:00pm-7:00am Where We Are: Florence, Alabama is situated in Northwestern Alabama, where the Tennessee River Flows through the scenic Shoals. On your days off spend some time fishing and boating on Wilson Lake. Come tour the historical sites, visit Key Cave National Wildlife Refuge, or take a relaxing lake cruise on Wheeler Lake. Patients could range from a variety of surgeries that we offer. Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current state LPN license. Additional requirements include: Associate's Degree in Nursing required. 1 to 2 years of experience preferred. Must have an active AL or Compact RN License. What you will do LPN responsible for providing the immediate post-op recovery care of the Perioperative patient in the PACU through the use of the nursing process. The Nursing process is defined as the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluating of nursing care pertinent to the individual patient.
