About Our Practice: The practice is located in northwest LA and is committed to delivering patient-centric, comprehensive dental care. Our recent expansion includes ten spacious operatories and a surgical suite with ergonomics and streamlining in mind. Our team includes two talented doctors, the best endodontic specialist, and a team of committed dental hygienists.
What the practice offers: Our practice is full-service, not corporate, and we believe the standard of care includes using state-of-the-art technology to obtain a more precise diagnosis, such as lasers, iTero scans, digital X-rays, and CT scans. We believe in creating an uplifting working environment where team members are encouraged to build relationships with their patients and foster a kind and compassionate working atmosphere.
Benefits:

- 40 hours of paid sick time/year - if unused, you can cash in this time.
Responsibilities:
- Record evaluation of periodontal conditions, occlusal relations, and extent of prophylaxis to ensure a complete diagnosis and proper treatment plan by the dentist.
- Scale, polish, and apply fluoride; 6-8 patients seen/day, on average, with 90-minute NP visits and 60-minute recall visits.
- Educate patients on the importance of preventative care, the disease process, and the role of bacteria; provide appropriate educational literature and instruction on home care.
- Evaluate gingival health and the health of all oral tissue.
- Performs oral cancer exams on all patients while explaining to the patient.
- Perform hygiene exams to chart lesions, existing restorations, and missing teeth.
- Take radiographs as recommended by the doctor.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dental Hygienist License
- X-ray and CPR Certification-Required
- New grads or experienced RDHs welcome

Salary: $56.25 per hour, plus daily bonuses and monthly bonuses
*Hours are guaranteed. You do not need to clock out if there are holes in the schedule.
