Improving our guests travel experience using technology, ingenuity and kindness."Breeze is hiring- join usUnder the general direction of the Materials Operations Supervisors, the Materials Specialist maintains the warehouse inventory, shipping, receiving, and transportation of materials. This person will be working with the Maintenance Department at the station to ensure adequate supply of materiel for aircraft maintenance and ensure material needs are met throughout the organization. Material Specialists work with others to execute logistics in a detail-oriented, dynamic, and safe environment.Starting pay is $18.50*$2.00 shift differential added when working from 9:00PM - 7:30AMHere's what you'll doResponsible for daily oversight of Material Stores and Line Material operationsOversee and problem-solve issues associated with inventory accuracy, parts issuing, shipping, receiving, stocking, material handling, and equipmentResponsible for warehouse operations of Technical and Non-Technical inventoryPerform data entry into the company inventory system to include locating, issuing, receiving, shipping of materials, warehousing of supplies, tools, and materialsCollaborate with Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) for movement of inventory, tooling, and special equipment for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recoveryMonitor and update stock items, minimum and maximum stock levels, and coordinate stock level adjustments with Maintenance, Purchasing, and/or other departments within the companyPerform inventory audits, inspections, inventory reconciliations, and maintain compliance with the General Maintenance Manual (GMM)Conduct physical inventory, ensuring adherence to minimum and maximum stock levelsWork in conjunction with Maintenance and Quality departments to complete calibrated tooling, Shelf-Life audits, and replacements for monthly regulatory compliancePerform periodic receiving inspection functions as assigned to by Quality ControlPrepare Hazmat material shipments in accordance with International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulationsCoordinate with Engineering and Maintenance Planning to prepare fleet modification kitsOther duties as assigned by the Manager of MaterialsAchieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity and ExcellenceHere's what you need to be successfulMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent educational achievement1 yr minimum experience with data entry or inventory managementStrong technical and analytical background to provide TRAX, Excel, and other reportsMust possess a valid Driver's License and a driving record that meets Breeze Airways standardsAbility to drive company vehicles, trucks, forklifts, and other Ground Service Equipment (GSE)Pass Materials and the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) training coursesPass and ship Dangerous Goods (DG) International Air Transport Association (IATA) and ground course and maintain recurrent training for both certificationsMust have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986Operate 5K & 15K forklifts to coordinate shipping and handling of aircraft engines and GSE equipmentPass a ten (10) year background check and criminal history records check (CHRC)Valid Passport with no restrictions to travel outside of the United StatesMust be able to secure appropriate airport authority and / or US Customs security badges.Must be fluent in EnglishMust be at least 18 years of ageOrganizational fit for the Breeze culture, that is, exhibit the Breeze values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity and ExcellenceSelf-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for successPreferred Qualifications4-year degree in Business, Aerospace, or other relevant field/ or received a certificate from an acceptable trade/technical school.TRAX (M&E) Inventory systemWarehousing or experience in a stockroom environmentSkills/TalentsExcellent communications skills, both verbal and writtenStrong presentation skills with the ability to communicate to LeadershipMust be able to handle high-stress situationsMicrosoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)24- hour operation may require holiday, weekend, overtime, or late-night workWell-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearanceAbility to comply and maintain Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standardsAbility to lift, carry, and move medium to heavy weights of 50 pounds or moreMust be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently in relatively confined spacesExemplifies Breeze's safety culture, values, and missionAbility to work with individuals and teams at all levels in the organizationPerks of the JobHealth, Vision and DentalHealth Savings Account with Breeze Employee Match401K with Breeze Employee MatchPTOTravel on Breeze and other Airlines tooBreeze Airways provides equal employment opportunities to all Team Members and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
