The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in an ERP-driven environment within a manufacturing-related industry.Key Responsibilities:Purchase Order Management: Create, update, and maintain purchase orders within the ERP system.Verify accuracy of pricing, quantities, and delivery dates. Track order confirmations and update changes in the system promptly.Supplier Coordination: Communicate with suppliers regarding lead times, order status, and any necessary adjustments. Follow up on late shipments or discrepancies to ensure timely delivery.ERP Data Administration: Maintain accurate vendor information, part numbers, and pricing data in the ERP system. Assist with running standard reports from ERP for purchasing and inventory status.Documentation Compliance: Ensure all purchasing documentation complies with internal processes and policies.Support audits by maintaining accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and correspondence.Support Tactical Activities: Assist purchasing and supply chain teams with day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and correspondence.Prepare and distribute reports on open POs, supplier delivery performance, and other key metrics.Qualifications:Education Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain administration, preferably in HVAC, manufacturing, or related industry.Experience with ERP systems e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar required.Skills Competencies: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry and documentation. Effective communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Word, Outlook.Preferred Attributes: Familiarity with HVAC systems, components, and terminology. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
