Deliveries will primarily focus on automotive replacement parts and may include the delivery of heavy-duty parts, automotive and industrial paint, and body shop supplies and equipment from our Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts retail store locations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provide exceptional customer service. This includes but is not limited to assessing customer needs, meeting quality standards for services and evaluating customer satisfaction. Abide by rules of the road and laws for safely operating a vehicle. Determine the priority of deliveries including the most timely and efficient route, when not directed by a manager or counterperson. Receive and process orders and other documents by reviewing for completeness and clarity before delivery. Maintain a clean and well running delivery vehicle by performing routine maintenance and inspections. Ability to safely drive a vehicle in different weather and traffic conditions. Maintain a valid Drivers License and clean driving record. Check in freight, stock, and retrieve parts. Handle cash and credit transactions. Help answer telephone and wait on customers. Work store inventory/assist in other locations inventory, if assigned. Maintain a clean facility inside and outside. Adhere to scheduled work time unless authorized by a manager. All other job duties as assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or equivalent experience or motivation to pursue a GED. Automotive parts and/or customer service experience preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid Driver's License (Class E required for all Missouri locations), clean driving record. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
